Fibre Optic Cabling

As the need to transmit data at ever increasing rates grows the case for fibre optic cabling becomes more relevant. Whether it is used in the vertical or horizontal backbone or to link buildings across a campus; fibre optic cabling offers the modern, cost-effective solution.

Over recent years there have been a number of developments in fibre optic cables and connectivity. We no longer just specify Singlemode or Multimode cable, ST or SC connectors. Now we must consider the applications that are to run over the cabling, the distance they are to be transmitted, the environment the cables are to run through and the equipment they are to interface with. In designing the optimum solution to meet your requirements Evolved IT will consider all of these factors, before proposing a specification that will exceed your performance within fiscal demands.

Evolved IT are approved installers for various blown fibre solutions. These solutions offer the option to install tubes and then blow in fibres as and when required, thus spreading the cost of the installation and ensuring that fibres with only the precise specification required are installed.

We have the capability to carry out on-site terminations using fusion splicing or a variety of direct termination techniques (hot melt, cold cure, crimp, etc.). All installations are fully tested to ensure compliance with the relevant standards and test results are included with the handover documentation.

We have Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDDs) who have received extensive, independent training on all aspects of network design and implementation.
